From the drain to the ocean..Rain or shine..A bad day fishing is better than a good day in the office

Sea sick pirate belong fish party!
Belong style!....u know what that means?..its ok..it's just some crazy shits of us..:)
Been waiting for this trip for so many years..hard to get spot on this boat..highly in demand..obviously because of the captain's good knowledge of the sea and the system that he uses when drifting..Pettttt!!!!!!!
3 days 2 nights trip...12 hours out to the South China Sea from Sarawak Boat Club at Santubong.
Generally good weather, just a little bit choppy on the second day and rain on the early morning of the third day.
Anyway..despite my bad seasick..it was a great trip with lotsa great catches and moments..Belong!!!!!!

Bakun Trip
This trip has been planned for almost a year.Couple of friends can't make it at the the last minutes before the trip, but after all,5 of us finally made it.
The stories of giant Malaysian mahseer or kelah/empurau and sebarau/semah,adong,juak and ikan labang made the trip is the one that we really looking forward to.
We started the journey around 10 at night of March 15th.Ten hours drive from Kuching to Bintulu, and another three hours to Bakun doesn't feel that long.

And another 3 hours boat ride from the dam to the upper river of Murum. We reached Nanga Temaju just after the sun set and in the dark,we can't find a camp site.No land visible, since water has flooded everything. The flooded trees blocked the way to the land.So we spent the first night on the boat.
...its time to go home now...
Just in case you notice there's no picture with the catch here, please don't bother to ask for it.
It was raining heavily every night for the whole trip and nights before that.Water is just too murky.Artificial lure doesn't work. And only catfish take the bait.
Anyway...it was a great trip..and great escape too.
